Family
Support Organizations are family-led, community-based
non-profit agencies whose mission is to provide support,
advocacy, and education to families and caregivers of children with emotional, behavioral and mental health needs.
- To ensure that the
highest quality child-centered & family friendly
approaches to service delivery are created and
maintained throughout New Jersey
- To
provide a forum in which families, caregivers,
providers, and other concerned individuals work
collaboratively to identify needs, service barriers,
resources, and appropriate, effective, and timely
ways to intervene and to provide the resources
necessary to support strong community-based support
programs.
|
New Jersey Alliance of Family Support Organizations,
Inc. supports
these family-run organizations through training,
technical assistance, policy development, identification
of best practices, data collection and resource
development.
